SilverSprings update

My lovely client, who I have worked with on a few projects, is an avid gardener and has the most beautiful backyard. She is drawn to flowers and bright colours, so our starting point for this living room transformation was a colour palette of all her favourite colours. The carpet came first, although as we were about to place the order, that particular rug was discontinued. We had already chosen the fabrics for the custom cushions and ordered new custom furniture, so we hunted for a rug replacement. In the end, it all worked out. One of the major changes was removing the ceiling height brick on the fireplace that dominated the room. We then added a beautiful cement fireplace surround, replaced the floors, painted walls, and added a built-in bookcase that also separates the living room and front entry. This is “her” room and office, and it truly reflects my client’s lovely personality and garden.
